Photo Contest for UOD Students

The College for Advanced Pedagogy and Communication of the University of Dunaújváros invites applications from university students for a Photo Competition.

  

We encourage everybody to undergo the challenge of testing their photographic skills and abilities!

The winners will be awarded and the best photos submitted will be displayed in an exhibition. The announcement of results and the award ceremony will take place at the opening ceremony of the photo exhibition in the 2nd-floor hallway in building F of the University of Dunaújváros, at 16:00 on 5th December 2019. The entries will be judged and evaluated by a renowned jury.

 

We will announce winners by categories with the following prizes:

  • 1st prize winners: HUF 15,000
  • 2nd prize winners: HUF 10,000
  • 3rd prize winners: HUF 5,000

 

Categories

  • Portrait
  • Light and shade
  • Student life

 

Conditions:

  • Active student status at UOD
  • Format: JPG
  • Maximum 3 photo / person

 

How to apply

 You should create a folder called "neptunkod_fotopalyazat" in the OneDrive (cloud) connected to your university email address, and copy the photos (max. 3) into it in jpg format. After that, share the folder "neptunkod_fotopalyazat" in your OneDrive directory with the address "This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.". When sharing, please make sure to have the document in the protected (‘editing not allowed’) form.

 

Technical conditions

You may apply with up to three photos that can be submitted in the said categories as you wish. The name of the categories for the electronic submission are: ’portre’ (for “Portrait”), ’feny’ (for “Light and shade”) and ’diak’ (for “Student life”).

 We ask you to save and submit your photos in the following format:

  • 2835 x 4253 pixel
  • 300 dpi
  • jpg file extension
  • filename: ’name of category_number_neptuncode.jpg’ (e.g. ’feny_1_xyz123.jpg’)
  • filename for a second/third photo in the same category: ’name of category_2_neptuncode.jpg’ (e.g. ’feny_2_xyz123.jpg’)
  • filename for a second/third photo in another category: as above (e.g. ’diak_1_xyz123.jpg’)
