Although the Teacher Training Centre was established under this name only in 2014, together with its legal predecessors, it has a history of more than 50 years in the field of teacher training. Continuing the traditions and adapting to the main fields of study of the University of Dunaújváros, the Bachelor's and Master's courses of the Institute are related to the fields of Engineering and Informatics. All our pedagogical professional training is in line with the pedagogical challenges of the 21st century.

The lecturers of the Teacher Training Centre regularly maintain contact with the staff of other domestic and international institutions, regularly participate in Hungarian and international conferences, and represent the University and the Institute in various professional organizations. Instructors are constantly expanding their knowledge and encouraging their students to do the same.
